Wonder Workshop Discovery Pavilion
Manhattan, Kansas
For my fifth year master’s project at Kansas State University, the studio teamed up with a local non-for-profit organization to design and build a small discovery pavilion for impoverished children. The goal of the pavilion was to provide a place for children to play, learn, and become more involved with the community. The project consists of a shaded “archeology” sand pit, a larger shaded discovery station designed to allow for a multitude of different exhibits, and a small vegetable garden.
